By booking, you confirm that you have read and accept the terms and conditions below. Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments are provided by independent, accredited Domestic Energy Assessors. Move-Nest Property Limited (“Move-Nest”) acts as a national booking and payment platform only.

Service Overview
Move-Nest operates solely as a national booking and payment platform for Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and related property services across England, Wales and Scotland.
All assessments are carried out by independent, accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (“Assessors”). -
Our Role (Disclosed Agent Status)
Move-Nest does not carry out EPC assessments.
Move-Nest acts only as an introducer, booking facilitator, and payment processor.
The contractual relationship for the EPC service is between you (the customer) and the independent Assessor.
Move-Nest does not control, supervise, or take responsibility for inspection conduct, professional judgement, or the accuracy of lodged EPC reports. -
Assessor Responsibility
Assessors are solely responsible for their work, professionalism, conduct, and compliance with EPC regulations.
Assessors must hold their own Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance as required by their accreditation scheme.
Any dispute relating to the inspection, evidence, or EPC rating must be resolved directly with the Assessor. -
Payment
All payments are made to Move-Nest at the time of booking.
Assessors must not accept payment directly from customers.
Move-Nest releases payment to the Assessor only after the service is confirmed as complete. -
Cancellation & Refunds
• Cancel up to 3 working days before the appointment → full refund.
• Cancel within 3 working days → non-refundable.
• Missed appointments / no access → no refund.
• If an Assessor cancels or fails to attend, Move-Nest will reschedule or refund you. -
Rescheduling
Reschedule requests must be made 3 working days before the scheduled appointment.
Short-notice rescheduling is not guaranteed. -
Access and Property Conditions
You must provide safe and unrestricted access at the agreed time.
Unsafe or inaccessible conditions may result in an aborted appointment with no refund. -
Customer Obligations
All booking information (property type, access, contact details) must be accurate.
Incorrect or misleading information may result in additional charges or cancellation without refund. -
Service Limitations
Appointment times may vary depending on Assessor availability.
Follow-up visits may be carried out by a different Assessor.
EPC outcomes depend solely on the Assessor’s professional judgement and EPC regulations. -
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• Move-Nest’s liability is strictly limited to booking administration, payment processing, and communication support.
• Move-Nest is not liable for EPC results or ratings, assessment conduct, delays caused by Assessors, or any losses, damage, or disputes arising from the Assessor’s work.
• Move-Nest’s total aggregate liability is capped at the amount paid for the service. -
Force Majeure
Move-Nest is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (including but not limited to weather, illness, transport issues, power cuts, or other unforeseen events). -
Privacy & Data Sharing
Customer details are shared only with the appointed Assessor for the purpose of completing the service.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England, Wales and Scotland.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales or Scotland, as appropriate. -
Changes to These Terms
Move-Nest may update these Terms at any time.
Material updates will be communicated by email or website notice. -
